At a Guigal trade tasting, I rated this in the top 5 white wines I've ever drunk. That's pretty high praise but it was without doubt a 'wow moment'. I actually shouted out with joy after reluctantly having to spit it out! Can't wait to try it again though I'll need a special occasion. This is highly complex with aromas of minerals, wet earth, gun metal, substantial explosion of flavours on the palate. There is also a divine sweetness there- oranges, apricots. It's not for shy flowers...it's BIG but beautiful. From the Condrieu AC's very finest Voignier terroir. Just amazing...I'm almost scared to re-taste in case it doesn't do it 2nd time round! Mind you, Robert Parker gives it 95/100 so I guess I'll probably be OK! Christmas Goose wine? Whatever...it's swoon time...
