Gorgeous, dry white wine from the Cru Class Sauternes Chateau Guiraud. I simply can't recommend this highly enough! It's excellent wine and has been so popular at TBC since I first took some in 2010. It's lightly oaked to perfection for 8-9 months from 20% Semillon 80% Sav Blanc. Aromas of lemon zest, minerals, bread and a palate with unmistakable presence. Not a shy wine, but still perfect with or without food. Great with shellfish, chicken or even one or two red meats. I'm worried future vintages will be more expensive as this seems a bit undiscovered despite the well known Chateau. Brilliant!!
